GBR Technology are a well-established distributor and manufacturer of oils, greases and related fluids. We’ve been trading for 25 years with roots that go back much further. Our business is enjoying a period of sustained and profitable growth.
GBR Technology distribute high quality lubricants for major multi-nationals. Brand we represent include Krytox, Anderol and PetroCanada amongst other. Sectors we are active in include industrial vacuum, aerospace, defence, automotive, Formula One, metal manufacture, chemical, food and other industries. We also have a growing manufacturing business supplying fluids into the sports turf industry.
We have a vacancy for an Account Manager / Product Manager role to both service and develop some of our existing customer base but crucially to continue to grow our business further with new accounts. This role will focus mostly on account management and business development of specialist Krytox PFPE based lubricants into the UK and Ireland manufacturing sector and also Anderol lubricant products. The role will include aspects of Product Management. You will join a highly competent, motivated and friendly team and your results will contribute to the growth of the company. You will be based either from our office in Berkshire or be home office based (with the ability to come into the office at least 1 day per week) and will spend a portion of your time visiting customers in the UK and Ireland as well as limited international travel from time to time.
Our working week runs Monday to Friday with a holiday entitlement of 25 days plus public holidays.
The role comes with an attractive base salary (depending upon experience, attributes and qualifications) PLUS company car and additional bonus elements. Bonus elements are likely to comprise a monthly profit share as well as a sales target driven bonus. There is also a company pension scheme.
The candidate should have a working knowledge of relevant sectors of the UK manufacturing industry and will have a successful sales track record in lubricants. An engineering background/qualification or science degree would be desirable but not essential.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to form strong working customer relationships.
